men in smoke dw-8600ms-8t fisherman

my first g-shock from the men in smoke series is the interesting dw-8600ms-8t fisherman.

the watch sports a couple of cool features which may be useful in varying degrees to different individuals. this include a tide graph, moon phase indicator as well as the ability to tell the timings of sunrise and sunset.

lots of bells and whistles i guess but certainly not well utilised by me. nonetheless, form has always taken priority over function for me when it comes to buying g-shocks, so what the heck…

the fisherman has a titanium caseback engraved with a mermaid’s image while the backlight shows a cool and somewhat mean looking turtle.

the strap buckle is a double loop design which i am not particularly fond of. wearing the watch seems to take some extra effort because of this buckle design.
