it’s always exciting to return from vacation to find a prized capture waiting for you…
i nailed this dw-5000c-1a just before a two-week break and was finally able to lay my hands on a watch i’ve been hunting for a while.
this is the grand-daddy of the excellent lineage of dw-5600/5200/5000 g-shocks. so many variations have been spawned but none beats the original baby of project team tough.

would you know how much is the dw-5600 going for right now? From your website i see that win’s is a good place to buy. I’m looking to buy a basic dw-5600.
if you are referring to the basic dw-5600e, i believe the cheapest i’ve seen at bencoolen is 62sgd. have fun!
hmm.. can you recommend a 5600 model that has something a little different from the standard but still within the price range? I’d purchase the standard model but if i had a choice i’d like to have something a little different.
p.s. i think i’ve read of a model with gold lettering?
yes, there is a basic 5600eg-9 with gold lettering on the bezel and gold-coloured buckle. price should be the same as the basic 5600e.

this is the japan version which says “foxfire”. the ones in singapore say “illuminator”.
as far as the 5600 series go, the 5600e is the cheapest you can find. other variants will go upwards of 80sgd. the latest crazy colours series is about 90sgd and still available in bencoolen.

thanks for the help! g-shocks here in the philppines are overpriced. dealers price is almost twice what you pay for there and no one sells grey market.
